From Salesforce to HubSpot: one CRM platform for growth

Bexter digitises the management of reusable packaging with TrackOnline. Bright Digital helped the company move from Salesforce to HubSpot, bringing marketing, sales and service together on one platform.

With Bexter’s Salesforce licence coming to an end, the migration had a clear deadline. Bright Digital guided the process from discovery and solution design through migration and CRM configuration, ensuring the business could make the switch smoothly and continue working from one integrated platform.

About the client

TrackOnline by Bexter

Bexter is an international software company with more than 25 employees. Its SaaS platform, TrackOnline, digitises the management of reusable packaging such as crates, roll containers, pallets and other logistics assets. TrackOnline gives organisations real-time visibility into where their assets are, how many are available and what condition they are in. This helps customers optimise return logistics, improve collaboration across supply chains and reduce waste.

The challenge

Before HubSpot

A shared lifecycle across teams

Marketing needed to become part of the same CRM structure used by sales and service. A clear lifecycle framework was required to qualify leads consistently and make sure they were assigned to the right people.

The new setup needed to provide a strong foundation for automation while keeping customer data and processes connected.

Our approach

A structured migration from discovery to go-live

With the Salesforce licence end date creating a fixed deadline, careful preparation was essential. Bright Digital mapped the existing processes first and translated them into a HubSpot setup before moving the data and completing the final CRM configuration.

001

Discovery & process mapping

Bright Digital mapped Bexter's existing processes, requirements and way of working across marketing, sales and service.

002

Solution design

Together with the Bexter team, Bright Digital designed the HubSpot setup, including the lifecycle framework and the required CRM processes.

003

Pipeline configuration

The prospecting pipeline was designed and the sales and service pipelines were configured around Bexter's way of working.

004

Migration planning & testing

A detailed migration plan was created, including test migrations to identify issues before the final cutover.

005

Data migration & CRM configuration

The Salesforce data was migrated and the CRM was configured with the required language and currency settings, GDPR configuration and supporting data.

006

Sales process & go-live

Deals, quotations and time registration were configured for the sales team, followed by the final transition from Salesforce to HubSpot.

Solution design, migration and CRM setup

Bright Digital mapped Bexter’s existing processes and translated them into a HubSpot setup built around a shared lifecycle and dedicated prospecting, sales and service pipelines.

After testing the migration approach, the CRM was configured with the required language, currency and GDPR settings.

Deals, quotes and time registration were also added, giving Bexter clearer insight into each opportunity and the effort involved.
